Configuration of Pexels in the image bank

Pexels is a stock of royalty-free images.

Here are the configurable options:

  • API Key: Required to use Pexels. Registration can be done here. Application creation and API ID are on this page.
  • Language: Many languages are available. Choose the language that matches the language of your WordPress content.
  • Orientation: Select whether your generated images are landscape, portrait, or square.
  • Résolution: Set the minimum resolution for your images. Small (4MP) is usually more than enough image quality. Setting a higher image quality will limit the number of images available (and possibly the relevance of those images).
