Pro can generate images on a schedule. Enable cron under Magic Post Thumbnail > Cron.

The fallback chain comes from Source (the same chain as the editor button, bulk generation and imports), unless a placement uses an Image Source override under Automatic > Image Placement.

• Relevant post type — posts, pages or other types to process.
• Relevant post status — publish, draft and/or pending.
• Interval — how often the cron runs. WordPress cron is not a server crontab, so the run may not be exact to the minute.
• Posts date — age filter. For example “5 days ago and newer” only processes recent content.
• Number of posts — how many posts to process on each run. Use 5 or 10 to avoid a long burst (especially with Bing Images).
