Configuring the Google Image method in the Image Bank
The Google Images method provides the most images but is the least official as it does not use the Google API. The results are the same as when you search for images on Google. This is the default method in the extension configuration.
Here are the configurable options:
- Language: Many languages are available. Choose the language that matches the language of your WordPress content.
- Specified color predominantly: The primary color of the generated image.
- Rights: Select which licenses apply to images. The selected licenses are cumulative.
- Image size : The size of the image.
- Image format : Select whether your generated images are landscape, portrait, or square. Possible choices: Landscape, Portrait, Square or Panorama.
- Image Type : Available choices: face, photo, clipart, line art, animated.
- Safety level : Whether or not to display potentially offensive images. Possible choices: Moderate (default), Activate, Off.
- Restricted domains: If you only want to grab images from certain domains (e.g. wikipedia.org), add them here, one per line.
- Blacklisted domains: If you don’t want to grab images from certain domains, add them here, one per line.
